The next cartoon in the strip (if there was one) would show Mr. Smiles in a Suma Wrestling ring with a very large Japanese Wrestler.
This cartoon would fit any business related magazine or paper.
I don’t get the connection you’re making with Sumo wrestling, Scott. Probably because I know so little about Japanese wrestling. Could you please explain briefly how my cartoon or my caption is related to it. Thanks.
I approached this as, ‘things aren’t always what they seem’. Your cartoon shows the selection as a good thing for Mr. Smiles and a bad thing for the others. The next cartoon would show what appeared to be a good thing is, in fact, a bad thing.
Mr. Smiles was chosen to represent the company in a Sumo Match. (Thanks for correcting my spelling of Sumo.)
Okay, Scott, thanks for the explanation.
