Winner of Eli’s Cartoon Caption Contest No. 192

“I’m guessing calling security won’t work?”

(by Rich Wolf)

My original caption: “Miss Foster, send in someone I can damn with faint praise.”

Congratulations once again, Rich Wolf, on this, your lucky 13th victory. You were sort of on a roll recently with three consecutive wins in Contest Nos. 187, 188 and 189, and now here you go again. I guess there’s no question that you are definitely one of the funniest people around.

Here are the other caption entries which were under serious consideration for top honors:

“I understand that Mr. Oglethorpe is busy, Ms. Clark, but I really think this negotiation is one he should handle himself.” (by Gayden Wren)

“Is giving the devil his due tax-deductible?” (by Jonathan Stein)

“Miss Kerbobble, bring me a copy of the memo that discusses what’s in the corporate details!” (by Tim Collins)

“Marge, please take our new employee to his room on the lower level.” (by David Grand)

“Cancel my 1 o’clock, I’ve got a contract to write.” (by Sagie)

“I’ll be away from my desk for a helluva long time, Alice.” (by Pat Foley)

“We need to change our open door policy.” (by Michael Lomazow)

Be on the lookout for Contest No. 193, Captioneers. It’ll be posted soon. Thanks for participating!
